Camosun College offers Adobe CC access relevant to your course needs using:

(SDL) -  Shared Device Licenses (Complimentary)

  • Students who do not require NUL can obtain FREE Adobe CC following these steps.
  • This license can only be used in person in designated labs.
  • No remote access is available with this type of license.

OR - - -

(NUL) - Named User Licenses

  • Certain courses mandate these for remote access, installation on personal devices, or cross-platform usage
  • The student's school requests access for students in those courses
  • Opt-In Procedure: Automatic access no sooner than 7 business days before your class commences
  • NUL licenses are only available as requested by the School.  Opt-in provides SDL license access only.  If you feel you require a NUL license and do not have one, please contact your instructor.
  • no more than 7 days before classes begin.

Named User Licenses (NUL)

  • Adobe Fonts Accessible: Named licenses grant you access to Adobe Fonts.
  • OneDrive Integration: Files can be stored in OneDrive.
  • Access Timing: Access granted no sooner than 7 days before class starts.
  • Adobe Cloud Access Exclusion: Cloud access not included, except in Visual Arts courses.
  • M-drive Usage: Files accessible through M-drive.
  • Flexible Device Usage: Software is accessible on any device, including personal devices.
  • Personal Device Installation: Can install on personal devices.
  • Multiple Active Sessions: Up to 2 active sessions on different devices.
  • Access Duration: Access ends at course end; extension only by instructor request.
  • Access after course may resume with the SDL license restrictions only with opting in here.
  • ITS Support: ITS support available 8-4.

Shared Device License (SDL):

  • Available to all students if opted-in.
  • Lab-Specific Access: Accessible only in specific labs.
  • Access Procedure: Opt-in using the email used at registration.
  • Confirmation and Access: Access granted after confirmation email, typically within 2 hours.
  • Access Limitation: Limited to specific labs during lab hours.
  • Lab Locations: Lab locations can be found under "MYLABS ACCESS - Virtual product."
  • No Personal Device Access: No access on personal devices or remote access.
  • ITS Support: ITS support available 8-4.
