Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) apps and Adobe Acrobat (previously known as Acrobat DC or Acrobat Pro) have had a licensing change, along with a minor update to the interface and overall look and feel. Functionality and features are the same. Most users will notice little difference beyond the updated appearance.
What Changed
- Adobe licensing now uses your Camosun credentials.
- The interface and look and feel have been updated.
- Acrobat DC / Acrobat Pro is now simply "Adobe Acrobat."
- Features and functionality are unchanged.
What You May Notice
In rare cases, you may:
- Lose access to some features in your Adobe app
- See a message that your Adobe app (Acrobat DC/Pro or a Creative Cloud app) is not licensed
- Be prompted to sign in
Resolution: Sign Out and Back In
- Open your Adobe app (Adobe Acrobat or any Adobe CC app).
- Select your profile/account icon and choose Sign out.
- Close and reopen the app if needed.
- Select Sign in and enter your Camosun credentials.
- Confirm that your features and licensing are restored.
