Student Free Microsoft 365 / formerly Office 365 Subcription

Camosun offers all registered students Microsoft 365
(some people call it Office 365) that you'll use for your schoolwork.

 

You'll be able to use it 48 hours after you register for classes and for 12 months after the end date of your last class

 

You can start using it:

  • 2 days after you sign up for your classes

You can keep using it:

  • For 1 year after your last class ends


 

Here is what you get:

 

  • Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise includes the following core applications:
    • Word
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
    • Outlook (Camosun Students are not provided with an Email address at this time)
    • OneNote
    • Publisher
    • Access (Windows only - does not work on MAC OS)

 

  • OneDrive Cloud: 1 TB of storage per user for file storage and sharing
  • Microsoft Clipchamp
  • Microsoft Loop
  • Office for the Web for Education
  • Project for Office
  • Whiteboard

 

Always-up-to-date versions of the applications with new features added regularly.

 

Students can install the apps on up to 5 PCs/Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 mobile devices per license.

 

Works on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.

  • Microsoft Planner
  • Microsoft StaffHub
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Stream
  • Minecraft Education Edition
  • Microsoft To-Do

  • Windows 10/11 Enterprise
  • Yammer

 

You can use Microsoft 365 as long as you're taking classes.

If you stop taking classes for a whole year, you might lose access.

Camosun does not give students their own college email addresses.

You'll need to use your personal email for Outlook.

 

How to get started:

  1. Log in: Go to office.com and use your college username and password.
  2. Install: Once you're logged in, look for a button that says "Install Office" and follow the steps.
