Work place leader must request access for the shared drive before mapping

Reboot computer after confirmation of access by ITS.
After rebooting:
Open the
File Explorer
This is the yellow folder icon on your Taskbar
or...
Click on Start Menu and type “This PC” and that will be a File Explorer
Right click on
This PC
, choose
Map Network Drive
Select the drive letter you want to use for the network folder not currently used. - see below image.
Copy
\\naslan\
Paste into F
o
lder:
Add the Share name after this
\\naslan\
SHARENAME
In the
Folder
type: \\naslan\ShareName (replace "ShareName" with the actual name of the shared drive you are trying to map.
You can choose to reconnect to the folder every time you sign in so it's always available to you.
Confirm your selection and click Finish.
When you're done, you should see the new drive letter under This PC and will be able to access its contents like you would any other folder.
