How to add members

  1. Open Microsoft Teams (desktop or web).
  2. Navigate to the Team where you want to add members.
  3. Select the More options (•••) next to the Team name.
  4. Choose Add member.
  5. Enter the name, email, or group to add.
  6. Choose whether they should be a Member or an Owner.
  7. Select Add.

Notification : New members receive an email notification, but sometimes is delayed.
Channel access: Private channels have separate membership. Adding someone to the Team does not give them access to existing private channels—they must be added separately.
