Adding a printer (Windows 10)

To add a College printer using Windows 10, do the following:

  1. Open a File Explorer window. If you've got a yellow folder icon in your Taskbar, click on it. If not, click Start, and start typing "File Explorer" and it should come up as the primary result.
     
  2. In the address bar, enter \\printsrv1 if this is for a Lansdowne printer, or \\printsrv2 if it's a printer at Interurban or any of our satellite locations.

     
  3. You will see a list of all the printers available on that print server, listed alphabetically. Find the printer you wish to add, and double-click it.

     
  4. You will see this window as it works on adding the printer.

     
  5. Once it's complete, it will pop up the print queue window, and it should be ready for printing.
