Information Technology Services (ITS)

ITS provides support to enable learning, education, and the administration of the college by supporting computing, networking, security, printing, and many other technology systems and services.

Request new employee accounts, manage access, and maintain your Camosun accounts, email and passwords.

Audio Visual (AV) supports classroom technology and equipment requests, photo and video services, as well as AV equipment lending.

Request new software and support for your computers, mobile devices, computer labs and other equipment or report an issue with your devices here.

The ITS supported software systems used at: Colleague, D2L, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Office 365, Service Management Portal, and others.

ITS reviews all information security incidents and provides network security and anti-virus software. Information security is a responsibility for everyone.

ITS provides Wifi Network Access; Wired Network Support, Virtual Private Network (VPN), File Management, and other services to meet your needs.

Supporting cell, office, and soft phones, as well as voicemail, call center, telephone and tel conferencing.

Full-service printshops are located at both campuses and are open, Monday to Friday, to the public and to the college community.

ITS develops and supports various online systems and works in collaboration with Communication and Marketing to maintain Camosun.ca and the Intranet.

Information security is a concern for students, faculty, and staff. An Information Security Incident could mean lost or stolen data or workstations, active ransomware attacks, malware, computer viruses, and/or compromised user accounts.
